In June 2007, Rambler Media will close a deal bringing their share in Begun to 51% (up from 25.1%). Begun is Russia’s second largest context advertisement provider. The shares will be bought from Finam, an investment company, which acquired Begun in 2003 for roughly USD 750.000, and sold 25,1% after two years to Rambler Media for an undisclosed amount.

Rambler Media has an option to acquire 100% of the Begun shares from Finam. Both Prof-Media, majority shareholder of Rambler Media, and Finam declined to comment on their intentions to use this option.
